-How does it work?

When an activity requested by the Peer Advantage team is completed by you or a colleague, your company earns points. Peer Advantage points can be applied toward professional rewards like Teradata conferences, Teradata Education, executive seminars, books and more.


-Once my company is enrolled, how do I get started?

When your company is enrolled as a Teradata Peer Advantage member and you are set up as the company's Primary Peer representative, you'll have access to the exclusive members-only portion of the Peer Advantage web site. The Peer Advantage team will notify you if there is an opportunity for a Peer Advantage member company that matches the activity preferences you selected. If you want to participate more frequently, e-mail the Peer Advantage team about your company's availability.


-How can I register Peer Advantage activities for points?

After your company has completed an activity requested by the Peer Advantage team, you may notify us via the Contact Us page on the Teradata Peer Advantage web site. Or you can e-mail  Peer Advantage to contact the team member who coordinated the request. Please be sure your e-mail notification includes:
-Your name and the name(s) of the participant(s) from your company
-Brief description of activity
-Name of participating company (if a reference call, site visit or meeting at a Teradata conference) and the name(s) of the participant(s)
-Date and time completed
Your company's Teradata Peer Advantage account will be credited with the appropriate points once the activity is reviewed and approved.


-How can I redeem my company's points?

Redeeming your company's Teradata Peer Advantage points is easy. Simply visit the Redeem Points section on this web site, choose the desired reward, and a Peer Advantage representative will confirm your reward and provide further instructions. If you've ordered an item that requires mailing, we will mail to the address you've indicated on your Redeem Points form. Initial instructions for using conference registration, hotel lodging or air travel rewards will be e-mailed to you because you are the Primary Peer contact. If a colleague is using a conference-related reward, we're happy to work directly with that person; just let us know how to contact him or her.

-How do I know how many points are in my company's account?

Once your company is enrolled in Teradata Peer Advantage, you can check the account information — including point totals — using your exclusive login and password. Simply visit the Account Information section.


-What type of rewards can be earned?

Rewards (valued in US dollars) range from books and $100 gift certificates for Teradata merchandise to Teradata conference registrations, lodging and air travel. To review a complete list of rewards Teradata Peer Advantage members can earn, visit the Redeem Points page.


-Is there a time limit for redeeming my company's points?

Teradata Peer Advantage points must be redeemed within 24 months of the date they are earned or they will expire.
